Founded in 2007, the JMB Foundation's primary goal is to provide financial support for disability care and services for young people living with acquired brain injury (ABI) in Australia. Acquired brain injury (ABI) is defined as any type of brain damage that occurs after birth. It can include damage sustained by infection, disease, lack of oxygen or a blow to the head. The JMB Foundation raises money for those living with ABI and raises public awareness of the tragedy of brain injury on its sufferers and their families as well as the lifelong damage it can cause.
